Scott Bradbury (aka Badboy Scotty) Learned
to play harmonica on the streets of
Chicago
's Uptown in the late 1960's. On the advice of a street musician
he listened to any Little
Walter and Jimmy
Reed he could find. Scott has worked with Chicago Legends John
Brim, Floyd
Jones, Eddie
Taylor, Sam
Lay, and he has toured the world with the great Jimmy
Rogers.
On This CD Scott teams up with (Right Hand) Frank Bandy
(bass and producer). Both artists are alumni of
the Jimmy Rogers Chicago Blues
Band. The CD contains ten new original
blues songs with that real Chicago blues feeling, and it also includes a
cover of the Johnny Otis tune “Country Girl.”
Also Featured Are drummer Marty
Binder and guitarist Tre', who has performed with Chicago blues
legend L.V.
Banks. Bradbury’s harp playing is a gumbo of the styles of
many blues greats: Big
Walter, James
Cotton, George
Smith, Jimmy Reed
and others.
